MYLEK 4L Remote Control Air Cooler with LED Display and Ice Packs

MYLEK 4L Remote Control Air Cooler with LED Display and Ice Packs

This sleek white air cooler fits perfectly into almost any décor. It’s stylish enough to look right at home in a living room or bedroom, while still being professional enough to be suitable for offices. You can even place it in a customer-facing environment like a shop floor, as it only takes up a tiny amount of floor space.

A Refreshing and Natural Way to Keep Cool

Air coolers offer more cooling power than a fan, and they create a natural-feeling and refreshing breeze. This is because they use a tank of cold water which steadily evaporates over time. As the water evaporates, it cools the air around it, and it’s this chilled air which is blown out into the room by your air cooler. It’s a process called evaporative cooling, and it’s similar to the way the wind chills as it blows over a lake. This model can produce even fresher air than most air coolers as it comes with two free ice boxes. This keeps the water in the tank extra-cold – perfect for those hot summer days!

Affordable and Eco-Friendly

This air cooler is affordable to buy and very cheap to run. As it uses just 75W power, it’s kind to your wallet and kind to the planet, too!

Lightweight and Portable

You can easily wheel this unit around to stay cool in any room. It’s lightweight enough to be picked up and carried upstairs if necessary, which makes it the perfect bedroom cooler! For best results, you should place your air cooler near an open door or a window. This will help it work with the natural airflow of the room.

Packed with User-Friendly Features

You can get the temperature just the way you like it by using the three speed settings. You can also turn the air cooler off or on according to your schedule using the timer function. Everything about it is designed to be convenient and easy to use. Unlike most air coolers, you don’t actually need to remove the water tank when you need to refill it – it features a spout on the top of the unit so you can simply pour your water in!

Remote Control

Adjust the cooler’s settings without ever having to leave your seat thanks to its free remote control! If you prefer, you can also control your air cooler using the onboard control panel.

Rating 4 out of 5 based on 1 reviews.

Due to it's small size the cooling effect is better closer up, compared to my previous air cooler - so loses a star there. But the top-filling option for water is absolute genius. Also the top-panel on the cooler having Touch-sensitive controls is great.

Frequently asked questions

Hi, I just taken delivery of aMylex 4 litre air cooler. The instruction manual talks about max min marks on the reservoir but my unit does not have these. Please advise. Can I also confirm that the ice packs should be filled with water and then frozen. Is an particular type of water recommended?

The maximum & minimum water level is at the front of the unit above the castors & below the front grill area.

Fill the tank above the minimum level & below the maximum level. Ice or 1 frozen ice pack can be added to the tank but do not exceed the correct level.

My unit has written on the top - TOP WATER INLET - does this mean that I should add water through this top inlet? Do I put water in the tray part of the top of the unit or just put an ice pack in there? The booklet included is not written for the unit I have purchased which makes its instructions very difficult to follow. Also can you help about how best to clean the lower unit after use. There is mention of a drain hole, but none is visible on my unit. Thanks for your help. Bridget

Yes, water can be added at the topwater inlet to the maximum level mark. 1 Ice pack can be added to the top and another 1 to the bottom tank. Always fill to the correct water level.

To clean the lower unit, turn off and unplug the unit and place it over a drain or something that can collect the water. Turn the securing latch upwards and remove the tank by 1/3rd distance and then remove the plastic rubber bung located left front corner. After the water as drained clean with neutral detergent and wipe clean with water and a cloth. Replace the rubber bung fully. Then secure the tank back in place with the latch.

What does the cool button do This button will start the cooling function but water must be in the tank.

Which section in the top of the unit do you add water? Only the large section that holds the ice packs or also the smaller section at the back?

Please follow the manual instructions (page 4 & 5) and add the water to the tank at the bottom. You can also add 1 ice pack to the top section.
