The solution is on the "Message Boards" page of your Meetup group. Click on the "Stop tracking this message board" link and you're done.

The group's message boards can be found on the main menu of the group's page under "More" or can be accessed directly using the following link replacing [group_name] with you'r groups's name.

I found the "Stop tracking this message board" option in a specific forum on the message board. So, go to the specific Meetup page and click "More" -> "Message boards" ( https://www.meetup.com/MEETUPNAME/messages/boards/ ), go to each forum and you'll see the Stop tracking link.

To turn off all email updates across your Meetup Groups, click on your oval Account dropdown, then select Settings. Select Email Updates from the left column. Click the Turn off button under the Email updates header.

I don't want to turn off al emails. I want to receive the ones about RSPVs that I did as well as some other ones I selected to receive.

On checking my old mail, it seems Meetup did a deployment between September 2019 and March 2020, which changed the functionality in the message board email you receive and made some of the links break as well. Furthermore, the screen dump from the 2015 answer is out of date, and here's a new one:

Placement of the message board and tracking link

When you click on "More", it takes you to the message board. The "track this message board" link is enabled if you are not getting the messages, and if you are currently getting the messages, the link says "stop tracking this message board."

(I appreciate that this is an old post, but this feature has been annoying me for a while, and Meetup support wasn't much use.)
